Soon, we’ll be popping up at some of our favourite bars and venues for a series of “Tasting Room Takeovers” – intimate, offbeat events where you can discover our wines (and sometimes even a few barrel or tank samples straight from the cellar).

We also offer private tastings by arrangement, perfect for small gatherings, special occasions, or end-of-year functions.
The experience in Billy’s underground cellar was perfectly unique as we sampled delicious wines straight out of the barrel. We were made to feel so welcome as he shared his great passion and knowledge with us. It was an absolute treat.
What a unique and personalized experience! After a scenic drive to the Nativo farm in the stunning Swartland countryside, we were welcomed by founder and owner Billy Hughes. As a small and intimate group we were treated to tasting a wonderful array of organic wines straight from the barrels. We enjoyed listen to Billy’s stories and his insightful and candid answers to our many questions, in a cool and earthy environment in a below-the-ground setting. After a visit to the vineyard and more interesting discussions, we enjoyed some awesome snacks and more than ample wine-tasting. We all said afterwards that we learned more about vineyards and wine making in those couple of hours than we have in our entire lives!
The barrel tasting at Nativo with Billy and Kiki was a truly remarkable experience. After the tasting we moved into the rammed earth tasting shed where we shared some snacks, opened some wine where more information about the different vintages was shared. Sitting around a table like that was such a fun way to experience the wines and the people in the room. The wealth of knowledge Billy and Kiki were able to share with us was such a treat. Highly recommend a visit!! Also the views are just breathtaking!!
Had the most incredible time exploring the farm and tasting all the wines straight from the barrel, followed by an amazing platter and wine tasting in a gorgeous tasting room. Truly one of the most authentic, amazing experiences I’ve had in a long time!
