100% Grenache Noir – made from certified organic grapes
A feminine, organic red wine from the Swartland with aromas of red berries, strawberries and raspberries, with a subtle minerality finished off with gentle tannins and a note of white pepper.
Light red meat dishes, such as springbok carpaccio, or beef tartare. Grilled lamb chops with earth spices such as cumin, turmeric and coriander. Pairs well with berry components such as raspberry or red berry sauce.
Grapes are hand-picked according to phenolic ripeness into small baskets, naturally fermented on native yeasts, in line with SIP principles, and then matured in 2nd or 3rd fill French oak barrels for 9 months.
Less than 300 bottles available.
The wine is drinking well now and will continue to improve for another 5 years or more.
